Florals are my favorite to paint and this new collection was inspired by a group of 4 floral watercolors I painted a few years ago. At the time, those were inspired by floral artist Azuma Makoto, whose bold colors and visuals are so stunning. This new collection is not tied to Makoto again, but instead specifically to the colors and style I used to create those 4 paintings.  Believe it or not, but i had to practice quite a bit to get back to that style.  Once i was there, i spent more time exploring different colors, textures and flowers.  I wanted each to feel related but be very different from the others and am so happy with the final grouping.  Unlike past collections, I am also releasing cards and prints.
